Independent Child Supervision

Axia Therapy Services also offers a

Children’s Contact Service

This service is designed to provide a safe, supervised environment for children to spend time with the parent they do not live with, or to facilitate the transfer of children from one parent to another in circumstances where parents are not able to manage their own parenting time arrangements.

Where matters are before the Family Court, an objective and factual report on the observed supervision of the child is provided to the acting solicitor.
As a Mandated Notifier, I am aware of the legal requirement to report any child protection concerns to the Department of Child Protection through the Child Abuse Report Line.

When providing this service, I draw on my experience working in the following fields:

  • Child Protection (Family and Youth Services which is now Department for Child Protection).
  • Juvenile Justice
  • Child Adolescent Mental Health Service
  • Aboriginal Family Support Service
  • Rural and Remote mental Health Service
  • Department of Community Corrections
  • Adult Community Mental Health

I also have considerable experience in writing court ordered reports.

  • Forensic Victim and Next of Kin Reports
  • Magistrate Court Diversion Programme., Mental Impairment Court and Drug and Alcohol.
  • Family Court of Australia
  • Adelaide Youth Court
  • Reports to The Parole Board of South Australia.
